            Sandy joined the Royal Lepage Real Estate family in 2003 and it has been one of her most enjoyable career experiences. With a background in Marketing, Promotions and Advertising, Sandy also has a long history in both retail and wholesale sales in several different markets.

In Real Estate, Sandy’s dedication and attention to detail has helped many clients through the stress, emotion and decision making that is part of buying and selling of real estate. In this referral-based business, Sandy prefers a comfortable and easy style of communication with clients and is continuously upgrading her knowledge of the business through courses, seminars and market studies. In 2006 Sandy earned the Presidents Gold Award with Royal Lepage Kelowna.

            With 30+ years experience in the horse industry Sandy has begun to direct her real estate focus on equine properties, hobby farms and acreages throughout the Okanagan. With a family of rodeo and cowhorse competitors, a Peachland based horse boarding and training business and past open and breed show experience, Sandy has a well rounded knowledge of the real estate needs of the horse enthusiast, whether professionals, competitors or for the weekend hobby farmers.

            Sandy is also a certified equine appraiser with the American Association of Equine Appraisers, and will do equine appraisal work for insurance claims and coverage.

            A resident of the Okanagan for 20 years, she has been an active volunteer and competitor with many rodeo clubs, equine and barrel racing associations her whole life.  In 1996 Sandy was named Rodeo Person of the Year for BC and in 2004 was made an honorary Gold Card Member with the BC Barrel Racing Association. In most recent years, Sandy has focused mainly on youth participation with Little Britches and High School Rodeos, and in the past has also worked hard to promote ladies events in rodeo.
